Emanuel Cleaver II is a United Methodist pastor, American politician, and a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Cleaver currently represents Missouri's 5th congressional district, where he's served since 2005. He was the chair of the Congressional Black Caucus from 2010 to 2019. Prior to that, he served two terms as mayor of Kansas City, MO. Congressman Cleaver regularly makes appearances on Meet the Press and Face the Nation as well as Oprah and Good Morning America.
