Author: Anthony is a primary school teacher who completed his Bachelor of Education Prep - 12, majoring in English and Health and Human Development in 2014. Anthony has been a teacher for seven years and has taught upper primary and junior secondary school students. Prior to teaching, he worked as a veterinary nurse at a leading animal hospital and is extremely passionate about animal welfare. His hobbies include reading, running and spending time with family. This is Me is his debut picture story book about two teenagers struggling to tell their family and friends that they are gay. Anthony is very passionate about social literacy and feels that all students need to see themselves represented in literature. He currently lives in Melbourne, Australia with his pet cat Cheddar. Illustrator: Krista is a freelance illustrator, fine artist, and art teacher who lives in Sydney with her partner and mischievous cat. She primarily uses traditional methods for her art, including watercolour, ink and oils. Krista’s art has been featured in books, card games, exhibitions and competitions, but most of all, she enjoys using her pictures to tell stories.
