Tanya L. Fernandez, MS, PA-C, IBCLC, is an assistant professor at the University of Colorado Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant (CHA/PA) program. She is a board-certified physician assistant and lactation consultant who has spent her clinical career working with families, children, and adolescents in underserved and high-risk populations. She joined the faculty at the CHA/PA program in 2016 and holds both didactic and clinical education responsibilities within the program. She is the co-author of The Physician Assistant Student's Guide to the Clinical Year: Pediatrics.
