Lory Widmer Hess grew up near Seattle, Washington and studied eurythmy at Sunbridge College, New York. She has been a book editor for the Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America since 2006. Her own writing has been published in a variety of print and online publications. Lory also works part-time in a residential home for adults with developmental disabilities and blogs at enterenchanted.com. She currently lives in Villeret, Switzerland.
