Vanessa has written a number of popular resource books for those working with young people, including A Little Book of Drugs, A Little Book of Alcohol, A Little Book of Tobacco, Cyberbullying, Working with Young Women and Working with Young Men. Her books are on the reading list for students studying social work and youth work degrees at universities across the UK, where she has given guest lectures.
