His main research interest focuses on the ecology and systematics of the amphibians and reptiles of South and Southeast Asia.Abhijit Das received his PhD from Utkal University, Orissa and is a Scientist with the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun. His research area includes the taxonomy, systematics and conservation biology of Indian reptiles and amphibians.
